 Jay Gotti
1996-2004
AQHA Bay Stallion
Zips Chocolate Chip X The Star Queen
Jay Gotti was sired by the extraordinary Hall of Fame horse Zips
Chocolate Chip, whose foals are known for their talent, great minds,
and trainability. “Jay’s” dam, The Star Queen, earned her superior
in Western Pleasure and has gone on to be a proven producer, having
foals that have earned over 475 points in all divisions combined.
The Star Queen was sired by the legendary Skipa Star, and her dam
was Queen Kidnap, who was by Kidnap Bar, a great producing son of
Magnolia Bar. Queen Kidnap is out of a daughter of Two Eyed Jack.
Jay Gotti was destined to not only be a great show horse, but also a
great breeding horse.
He was unable to prove himself in the show pen due to an injury, and
was just starting to “show off” in the arena through his foals, when
he had a tragic accident while playing in his turn out pen and had
to be put down.
With only five colt crops, Jay Gotti’s foals consistently inherit
his pleasing temperament, intelligence, and beautiful movement. His
foals are successfully being shown in yearling longe line, the two
year old western pleasure futurities, and continuing showing and
winning points in open, amateur, and youth, including the novice
classes. They are earning AQHA Incentive Fund and NSBA money.
